Google Calendar- receive free SMS reminders

It has been over 2 years Google Calendar has been launched. Many of you might don't know that Google Calendar can send you SMS reminders for free. To activate Google Calendar reminder on SMS, go to Google Calendar and click on Settings -> Mobile setup. Select your country and enter your mobile number. You will receive a verification code on your mobile, just enter the verification code and Voila!!! You will receive reminders on your Mobile. Now, you can be sure that you will not forget your Girl/Boy friend's Birthday anymore. Check the supported mobile operators.

Burrp.com - your city and TV guide

Look no further check out Burrp.com, it's a local site which gives information about Restaurent, bars, cafes and events in your City, Burrp also has TV guide. You can set TV reminders on website and can receive SMS reminders for free. Now, you will never miss your favorite movie. you can also review restaurents and give ratings. The cities covered are Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahemadabad, Hydrabad and Kolkata.

Orkut goes local, launches orkut.co.in

After launching Indian version of You tube, Google has launched Orkut India. Orkut also introduced themes in India. Go to your edit profile link and you can select your desired theme out of 11 themes. The theme will be visible to you and your friends when they visit your profile. Orkut is adding more and more features, after recently launch of applications, it's another developement from Orkut.
